Research & Writing Step by Step- There are six steps here to an A+ composition, presented by the Internet Public Library-   getting started, discovering and choosing a topic, looking for and forming a focus, and gathering information. Although designed for college students, this site offers good information for high school students.

Research Process Helper- Here is a tool that leads students through the research steps, organizing an idea map, journal, and search, with links to related online applications. This is outstanding!
